Project Overview

As someone who chooses not to drink, I have noticed a lack of inclusivity in social options for non-drinkers. I pitched the idea to my project team of a solution to this problem. We interviewed millenial non-drinkers and I spoke to a prominent influencer in the non-drinking scene in Washington, DC. After user research, ideating, designing, and testing, we created the "Refresh Culture" prototype to present social venues and options for those who choose to abstain from alcohol.

What I Learned

This was an ambitious project to take on for a 2 week sprint, but our 5 person team made it work by taking the lead on different areas. With one person leading research, another ideation, and others leading the different prototyping and design processes, we were able to devote our energy as a team to creating a well-researched and designed Figma prototype. I continued to advance my Figma component skills and dove head first into utilizing Bootstrap 5 for our responsive homepage.
